Rick Kollhoff, MBA – Chief Consultant

With over 34 years of experience in commercial lending and financial consulting, Rick Kollhoff is a trusted expert in helping small and medium-sized businesses secure the capital they need to grow. As the founder of Five Seas Capital, Rick specializes in guiding business owners through challenging and complex financing solutions, including USDA Business & Industry loans, SBA loans, and other under-utilized programs. His deep industry knowledge, strategic financial insight, and strong network of banking relationships allow him to tailor solutions that drive long-term success for his clients.

Throughout his career, Rick has been instrumental in structuring, underwriting, and securing loans in excess of $50 million across various industries. Before launching Five Seas Capital, he held senior lending positions at several community and regional banks. His expertise spans business development, credit analysis, financial management, and navigating regulatory landscapes.

Rick is passionate about helping businesses develop growth strategies and financial management best practices that strengthen their foundations. He believes in empowering business owners with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed financial decisions that position them for sustained success.

His leadership extends beyond finance, with a strong commitment to community, including service on dozens of charitable and municipal boards. Passion for education—and the positive generational change it creates for families and communities—led him to the Chattahoochee Technical College Foundation Board of Trustees and the Bartow County (GA) College and Career Academy, where he served as a founding board member and led the process of writing the BCCCA charter.
